CHARACTER
Name: Minako Arisato
Age: 16
Canon: Persona 3 Portable
Canon Point: October 6th; Prior to Ken Returning.
History: Female Protagonist Wiki Page; History is shared with Male Protagonist.
Following the sibling theory, Minako is the twin sister of Minato Arisato. The timelines split at the car crash. So, in Minako's history, Minato Arisato died along with her parents on the Moonlight Bridge.
Personality:
Minako is a leader by love. She was appointed as the leader of the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad because of her special ability. At first it was a duty. After all, she didn't know what would happen if she refused, and the combat was a rush. As time went on, however, she grew closer to SEES. Memories of the safe, happy feeling she felt with her parents and brother resurfaced. Rather than smiling out of obligation, or to keep people from asking questions, she became honestly happy.
She's very protective of her loved ones. In battle, she fights to protect her fellow members of SEES. In Social Links, she never hesitates to stick her neck out for the friends she's made. She tends to side with her friends immediately, and it takes a little while for the reality of a situation to kick in. When it comes down to it, she can find her friends' flaws: She just doesn't like to look at them, since she wouldn't want her own pointed out.
When she was young, she was the leader of the siblings. She would be the one to talk and suggest adventures. She thought of Minato as her "little brother," even though they were twins. This carries over to her time with SEES. Although she adores the color pink, she's still closer to a tomboy than a girly girl. She feels very at home fighting in Tartarus, eating beef bowls with Akihiko, or watching Junpei play games. She can make sweets well, but only to feed her ravenous hunger for them.
In the years after her family's death, the world seemed dull and gray. Moving back to Iwatodai started a chain reaction of events. Some events were horrible: the onslaught of the Full Moon Shadows the surging numbers of the Lost, and several events beyond her current canon point. At the same time, the existence of shadows and a sense of purpose brought color to her life. Rather than feeling helpless and hopeless, she had strength. She could prevent situations in which people died. She felt fulfilled and secure.
The advent of 10/4 did have a profound effect on her psyche, however. With Shinjiro Aragaki's detah, mortality was once again brought to the forefront of her mind. There was nothing she could do to prevent his hospitalization. He teeters on the edge between life and death. At any second, if it tipped to 'death,' Minako would again lose a precious person in her life. That, combined with her "family," SEES, being wracked by the event makes her very vulnerable.
Abilities/Strengths:
Minako is a special type of Persona-user known as the Wild Card. Like any Persona-user she has the ability to fight shadows with an aspect of her soul given form. Most Persona-users have a single Persona that can evolve and change with time. As the Wild Card, Minako can hold and manipulate multiple Personas. This requires a certain amount of spiritual strength that Minako has trained to refine. She cannot summon her Persona without the aid of an Evoker- a device shaped like a gun to simulate the terror of a near-death experience.
Her mental fortitude is definitely a strength. She dealt with an immense loss as a child, and the grief caused by the situation shaped her psyche. While dealing with grief is a part of her mental fortitude, it's her ability to lead others where her true strength shows. The strong desire to protect other can be seen as a result of her grief; she fears to lose anyone else. This protectiveness is another facet of her strength.
Weaknesses:
Minako is difficult to get to know. Although she's outwardly very friendly and social, she tries not to open her own heart too easily. In a sense, she's bound and weakened by a fear of loss. SEES is the exception to this rule because she feels she has a more proactive role in protecting them. The loss of her family made her very cautious of loving someone too intensely. Even when forming deep bonds with people, she tends to focus more on them than she does herself.
When she gets on a roll she begins to believe wildly. This is one of the meanings of the Fool Reversed, and how Ikutsuki is able to manipulate her and SEES. She and SEES never question defeating the Full Moon Shadows. Ikutsuki has put a task in front of them, and Minako wants to accomplish it. In that sense, she goes through tasks with blinders on. Why do the Lost keep slowly increasing? Well, it'll be over if they beat them all!
ARCANARUM
Story: Willow Wife.
Story Character: Higo, the Willow Wife
Plans:
Minako, acting as the Willow Wife, would come with her special tree. She would be intimately connected to the state of that tree, and the state of nature. If there were a frost, pests, or human interference with the tree she would suffer as a result. Individuals that cared for the tree, however, she would begin to feel an otherworldly attraction to. Her role is considered mostly filled if she weds/becomes involved with one who appreciates her tree. Death and loss could be reoccurring events, however, with Minako and her tree being restored by the Rulers. Every time the tree is destroyed, Minako will succumb further to her role.
The main points of conflict will be Minako's importance on her own feelings. Her role would introduce feelings for a person she may not have even directly met. It would be something she would fight against, attempting to keep herself and her tree as separate beings.

Third Person:
There had been something nagging at her conscious since she arrived. It had been easy to ignore, while adjusting to the new world. She had so much to deal with that she could push away the nagging sense of longing. Now, as if to escape the nagging sense of things to be dealt with, she followed the other whim.
The whim lead her over grassy hills, through patches of flowers, a good ways away from the village and society. She shed her shoes to cross a small stream, carrying them with her as she walked. Barefoot, she felt a sense of satisfaction she couldn't quite place. Her feet on the ground felt cool and natural. She felt more energized. Her pace picked up, as if she suddenly knew her destination was near. There was a bright smile on her face as "it" came into view.
It was a tree much bigger than what you'd find in Iwatodai. The branches shot out in all directions, forming a canopy of long, hanging vines. It was a willow tree. She dropped her shoes, excited to slip in through the curtain of leaves. A tree this size reminded her of when she was little. She clambered up the knotty trunk, not caring about her skirt or the scraping feeling of wood on her knees and palms. When she was little she would climb as high as she could, then turn and wave to her brother.
"'Nato, 'Nato! I climbed thiiiiis high!"
She smiled at the memory while pulling herself securely onto a branch. The problem with climbing up so high was who would help you back down? She remembered her Papa coming out to perform rescue missions. From this height, she thought, Akihiko-senpai could definitely catch her. Junpei would probably make a pervy joke, but he would. Shinjiro-senpai-
She can vividly imagine Shinjiro-senpai standing underneath the leaves, pretending to be irritated about her behavior. She can imagine him glancing away, embarrassed. She can imagine him holding his arms out to catch her. But he's not. She laughs weakly, kicking her legs back and forth.
"Hey, senpai, I climbed this high."
